State Competition 2008

April 18, 2008

The explorers took honors home from the recent MYLEAC State Competition held in April.  The post placed 2nd in Domestic Violence Response and 3rd in Crime Scene Investigation Competition.  Over 25 teams competed from around the state of Michigan.  One team came all the way from Conyers, Georgia.

It all started on Friday in which the explorers gathered for their last training prior to leaving for competition.  We received the city vans and away we went.  On the way up heavy rain moved in.  After a quick pit stop at McDonald’s in Standish the post continued to arrive at the Combat Readiness Training Center in Alpena, MI.  (Continued below with pictures)
